Why would I be shaky like I am shivering and valium makes it completely go away?

I’ve had several symptoms for about a week now, it appears my fever has finally gone away but I am still shaky and that causes me to feel anxious and some other things. I noticed it was the week before my menstrual cycle started and im on my very first day of it and it hasnt gone away yet but valium does work. This is the first time I’ve had really bad cramps with a period too. Could it be my hormones having problems?? What do you think?
Dr just called and said I have white blood cells in my urine so I have a bladder infection, could this relate?

Chosen Answer:

Anxiety is a body reaction to something off balance.
Do NOT keep taking valium… depending on drugs or drinks is just a cop out for learning to cope.

anxiety is likely the root of all your issues, it can make you shakey and it can magnify menstrual symptoms too.

Shivering can be a form of hyperventilating (never knew that until I was in a lot of pain in the hospital once and a doctor told me that) so it is not unusual that Valium (a sedative effect) would calm that. It could be because of the pain from the cramps.
