I am taking Valium now but when it end i am going to go on Xanax will i be ok?

I am taking six 5mg Valium tablets a day for my anxiety but i am running out and i will be only able to substituted them for Xanax which is equal 1.5MG a day until i c my doctor.Will i be sick or is Xanax is strong enough?

    You need to taper off the Valium. Call the dr. for a little bit more and a schedule to reduce intake before you entirely switch over. Never just stop the med and switch (when it come to antidepressants and antianxiety meds). My friend did this a few weeks ago and was so anxious she almost had to go to the hospital. Realized what was going on when someone asked about the med and quickly got a new, small refill and tapered off.

    xanax is a lot stronger than valium. You’ll be fine.
