what is the difference between valium and zoloft?

I am curious as to what is the basic difference between valium and zoloft, and their effects.

Thanks

Chosen Answer:

Valium is a “calming” drug. It attacks the nerves in your brain to produce a calming affect on your body. Used for Anxiety… withdrawal symptoms.. etc. Zoloft is more of an Anti Depressant that increases your bodies serotonin levels which increases “happiness” which also helps you sleep better, treated for OCD issues and things like that. Hope that helps! Here is more info on it…Hope this helps!
