Is it safe to take percocet and valium?

I have percocet 5/325 prescribed for occasional pain related to a serious disorder. I have valium 2mg-6mg for insomnia related to a muscle spasm. Tonite I took HALF a percocet at 10pm (so 2.5mg oxycodone) for pain. I took my regular 4mg of Valium at 2:30 am. Is this safe? I know those are very small doses, but now I am getting concerned.

you are fine. Just don’t abuse it and take it regularly. I have been prescribed both at the same time, and it is okay. Don’t drive or anything while taking both though. It can make you very tired!
