My father died approx two years ago as the result of intentional valium overdose, combined with alcohol. I am seeking physiological explanations for his death. I find that when I say that I have anxiety, they always try to prescribe me anti-depressants, where I prefer something like Valium that I can just take as needed rather than everyday, however they always seem so worried about prescribing it.
